Residency Training Locations

Our Nurse Practitioner residents are primarily based at two of Community Health Center's locations. CHC of Meriden and CHC of New Britain.

Both sites provide comprehensive primary medical care, behavioral health and oral health services, as well as HIV/AIDS care. CHC of Meriden has a full prenatal and obstetrics service.

Established in 1996, CHC of New Britain is the health care home for residents of the city of New Britain and many surrounding towns in Hartford County. It is the hub of an extensive set of CHC services, including school-based health centers and health care clinics in the city’s homeless and domestic violence shelters.

Established in 1991, the Community Health Center of Meriden serves residents of the city of Meriden, as well as the surrounding communities of Wallingford, Cheshire, and Southington. The CHC of Meriden serves as the hub for many CHC services, including its behavioral health services in all city schools, mobile dentistry programs, and health care services in the city’s homeless and domestic violence shelters.
